Emma P. Broom MHDL

 Emma is a training consultant and President of Service First Education and Training Company located in Charlotte, NC.  She is also an experienced and respected professional author, trainer, teacher, businesswoman, motivational speaker and songwriter.  Her style is warm, friendly, motivating, often humorous, and always energizing.

Emma has authored manuals for educators, administrators, and parents relating to classroom behavior management, policies and procedures, communication, curriculum activities, and business management.  She has also written and produced inspirational music and lyrics for child care providers.

Her program methodology and training manuals are designed to promote professional development strategies that result in positive learning outcomes for children and adults.

Emma has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education and has also earned a Master’s Degree in Human Development and Learning (M.H.D.L.) at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She also earned her Early Childhood Administration Credentials from Central Piedmont Community College and a Level III Child Care Administrator for the state of North Carolina.

Emma has over thirty five (35) years of experience in training professionals in Early Childhood Education and conducts Pre-Service and In-service training for child care providers, public and private schools, Head Start and Early Start.

Emma makes a dynamic impact on her audiences and the people she meets. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, strong Christian values, and many years of experience, have contributed to the quality of life of the people she serves.
